Meet the Teachers
- Mrs. Hahn: Mrs. Hahn has been teaching for 13 years, and has spent the last 10 teaching 5th grade in Wake County. She is originally from New York, and received her Bachelor's in Education from Long Island University and her Masters of Liberal Arts from SUNY Stony Brook. She is married and has two children, Riley and Finn. When not teaching, Mrs. Hahn loves reading, going to the movies and spending time outdoors with her family.
- Mrs. Holt: Originally from Roanoke, VA, Mrs. Holt graduated from Meredith College with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration. Deciding on a career change, she returned to Meredith and earned a MAT degree in 2013. She began teaching 3rd grade at Millbrook Elementary in 2013, and last year she taught 5th grade at Sanford Creek Elementary. Mrs. Holt enjoys kayaking, reading, and spending time with her family. Mrs. Holt and her husband have two sons, a daughter-in-law, and a crazy dog named Bentley! She loves teaching 5th graders and can’t wait to meet her first class of ACES gators.
- Mrs. Lovelace: Mrs. Lovelace is originally from Long Island, NY. She received her undergraduate degree from SUNY Albany and her Master's degree from Dowling College. Mrs. Lovelace has been teaching for 13 years and is Nationally Board Certified. She is married with three young children and an adorable puppy named Jake. Her children keep her busy and involved with lots of activities in her spare time. Mrs. Lovelace is looking forward to working with all of the families at Abbotts Creek.
